15 out of 26 competitors had made it to the Americana Reining Derby final today, for which at least a score of 211.5 was required. The winner was Canadian Vern Sapergia astride Peanuts Kid, a 4-year-old gelding owned by Claudia Klucsarits, AUT. The two showed a marvelous ride with superb spins, circles and stops scoring a 221.

Rudi Kronsteiner and Chic N Roost, a stallion owned by Priscilla Jacquard (FRA), placed second scoring 220.5 points. Belgian Bernard Fonck and Whiz N Merida placed third scoring a 217.5. The horse, owned by Piet Mestdagh, was the only mare in the final. Bernard Fonck also rode his second horse FB Junior to a great 7th place. The go round winner Bo Kasbergen (NED) and Dream On Chics placed fourth.
