Daniel Klein rode Whizable Star for owner Kathrin Brümmer
to a score of 215 for third place in the class. Tanja Bauer’s
A Big Time Lady marked a 214 with Torsten Gärtner aboard
to tie Ulrich Laudenklos’ Give It A Rest and Volker Schmitt.
The NRHA European Level
4 and Level 3 Open finals begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 13
in Ostbayernhalle with opening ceremonies beginning prior to the
start time.
In the Non Pro Consolation,
FS Spark N Twist and Frans Van der Meer (NED) tied for the lead
with Smarts Golden Spook and Francesca Sternberg (GBR) with a
211.5. Italy’s Marco Martinelli and Karl Rinner rode Icy
Spice and Rz Shining Dun to third and fourth place finishes with
a 210.5 and 209, respectively. Gump Gray Playboy BB and Babs Coppens
(NED) rounded out the Consolation top five marking a 207.5.
The finals for the
NRHA European Futurity Level 4 and Level 3 Non Pro begin at 2
p.m. on Saturday, March 13. Opening ceremonies will be held prior
to the start time.
Rudi Kronsteiner (AUT)
was near the end of the draw in a class of 62 riders in the $1,000
added Novice Horse Open Level 2, but managed to beat Massimiliano
Ruggeri (ITA) and LE Colombare QH’s Spat Split And White.
The duo bested the class for a longtime scoring a 216 early in
the draw. Rudi Kronsteiner rode Martin Binder’s Lilpeppy
Dunit Right a 217.5 winning the Novice Horse Open Level 2.
A total of 48 horses
were entered in the $1,000 added Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2
– almost twice as many entries as last year. The first four
places in the Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2 went to riders from
Belgium, the winner being Ives Leflot who scored a 214 riding
Gumps First Lady BB. The pair won the 2009 NRHA European Futurity
Level 1 Non Pro Reserve Championship last time they showed in
Kreuth. Ingrid Vermeiren and CB Custom Junior placed second scoring
a 212.5. Two time NRHA Non Pro World Champion Cira Baeck rode
Gump Whiz A Jac BB to a third place (211) and Groovie Quintana
to a fourth place (210.5).
